Futurepreneurs – an impact-driven business pre-acceleration program – on behalf of Sunrise Valley Science and Technology Park (Lithuania) & Dolnośląska Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego S.A. (Poland) is announcing a call for Youth Workers in Lithuania and Poland to take part in a workshop „Encouraging impact-driven business among youth“.

Futurepreneurs is a three month long pre-accelerator program for impact driven entrepreneurs. Program invites young people of the age 18-29 to join the project and create an impact driven businesses. Participants of the program receive mentorship, education and skill development while developing their business solutions. The aim of Futurepreneurs is not only to give the certain skills, but to promote entrepreneurship education among young people as well. We want to give young people a chance to make a real change by working on solutions to real sustainability challenges with a help of the leading experts from their field.

The workshop will take part on 8-13 of October, 2017, in Wroclaw, Wałbrzych and Karpacz (Poland). The working language of the event is English. The travel by plane (from Lithuania), accommodation (twin room shared with the same gender), and catering will be covered by the Erasmus+ project „Futurepreneurs“ (Nr. 2016-2-LT02-KA205-004913).

The aim of the workshop is to increase competencies in entrepreneurship development practices, learn about challenges of sustainable business, and expand the network of those working with Youth. The draft programme is available here.

Applications are accepted:

  • For Lithuanian Youth workers – till September 19th 23:59 Lithuanian time and must be send signed and scanned per e-mail info@futurepreneurs.lt.
  • For Polish Youth workers – till September 19th 23:59 Polish time and must be send signed and scanned per e-mail info@futurepreneurs.lt.

Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Download the application form.

The selection will be carried out by the evaluation committee consisting of 3 persons appointed by the organiser. Up to 10 participants will be selected. Selection criteria: knowledge of English language (20%), relevance of the objectives of the project (20%), relevance of the represented organisation to youth (20%), motivation to participate (40%).

May we draw your attention that the selected participants will have to sign an obligation to take part in the training. In case of cancelling the participation they will have to reimburse the costs associated with organising their participation in the training.
