In the informative event which took place in the Centre for Physical Sciences and Technology on the 7th of December, lecturers from Vilnius University (VU) and Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) met with organizers and partners of “Futurepreneurs” project. During the meeting, lecturers were presented with idea how they could integrate the project related material in the programmes of subjects taught by them.

VU Pro-Rector for Research Rimantas Jankauskas, VGTU Pro-Rector for Science and Innovation Antanas Čenys and Head of Sunrise Valley Science and Technology Park told the participants of the meeting about the tender and its objectives.

Representative of the partner of the project, consultative and business management services company “Civitta”, Jonė Vaitulevičiūtė made presentation on the scheduled events and training session program pertaining to “Futurepreneurs”.

During the event it was emphasized that actually it is the first time in Lithuania when within the scope of the tender, the project program is integrated in the study process. This will provide the students with opportunity to create their business of dreams during lectures and seminars.

Speakers of the event also noted that scientists and businessmen should encourage a closer cooperation, and this process could also be contributed by the students having most enthusiasm and ideas that could bring positive changes to the world.
